ATL leaders, Greg Neal, CEO, Elizabeth Horton, Executive VP, and Geoff Waby, VP of Quality, recently attended the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) Annual Meeting.  PCPC is the leading national trade association representing cosmetic and personal care products companies.

The Annual Meeting is where senior people from the industry association, major companies, suppliers, and beauty magazines get together to discuss significant challenges and changes.  PCPC serves as the voice on scientific, legal, regulatory, legislative and international issues for the $250 billion global industry.

Among the interesting topics on the meeting agenda were: an international standard for how companies should use the words “natural” or “organic” to describe their products; how to include ingredients from legally grown cannabis crops in cosmetics; and the latest developments in sustainability, particularly in packaging.

With more than 30 years of experience and a national presence, ATL provides full-service insourced and outsourced scientific functions for leading consumer goods, pharmaceutical and medical device organizations.
